Planet of the Nestene was the sixth serial of Season 32 of Doctor Who. It was written by Jim Mortimore, directed by Andrew Grieve and starred Richard Griffiths as the Eighth Doctor, Lisa Bowerman as Bernice Summerfield & Robert Bathurst as Chris Hector.
Synopsis[]
The TARDIS is summoned to Little Caldwell by Bernice's father, Isaac. Something sininster is happening within the walls of Purasuch - the biggest tech company in the world. Their new mobile phones are being sold for cheap - too cheap. Users of these phones are going missing without a single trace.
When the Doctor & his friends start investigating Purasuch, they uncover a plot by the Nestene Consciousness to conquer the Earth. With the help of The Pyramid team & his companions, can the Doctor stop the Nestene or will Earth become its new home?
