Scrap Metal was the second serial of Season 49 of Doctor Who. It was written by Jonathan Morris, directed by Philippa Lowthorpe and starred Peter Capaldi as the Thirteenth Doctor, Gemma Chan as Kelsey Haule & Tom Ellis as Richard McIntyre.
Synopsis[]
On the mining vessel Riolet X, the crew have made a huge salvage, after finding a great metal robot in space. A stranger named the Doctor arrives on the ship & names the scrap metal as 'Dalek' & calls the machine dangerous. He tries to make the crew through the Dalek away, but they won't listen.
In an attempt to revive 'Dalek', the crew begin to pump electricity into its armour, unaware of the consequences that will soon follow
