Series 4 of The Pyramid ran between 3 January 2005 and 21 February 2005. It starred Lisa Bowerman as Bernice Summerfield, Robert Bathurst as Chris Hector, Keeley Hawes as Jennifer Ward & David Oyelowo as Jack Afton. The season opened with Artificial Intelligence and concluded with The Final Day.

A swap in hands[]
Russell T Davies stepped down as an executive producer after Series 3. Paul Cornell stayed on as showrunner however he made is clear that this would be his last series. New Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat joined on as an Executive but didn't have too much of an input in the show. As well as this, Matthew Robinson was replaced with the new BBC Wales Head of Drama Julie Gardner. Nicola Shindler had also left the producer role & was replaced with Richard Stokes
