Silent Night was the 2004 Christmas Special of Doctor Who. It was written by Steven Moffat, directed by Andy Goddard and starred Liam Cunningham as the Eleventh Doctor, Kate Ashfield as Hannah Ward & Richard Armitage as Brian Whiteford.
Synopsis[]
Christmas Day, 2004. The People of United Kingdom wake up to the horrifying discovery that a quarter of the children have vanished into thin air without a trace. UNIT is on the case, as they suspect aliens. With no leads to go off, General Amanda Powell summons the Doctor for help. Where have all the children gone? Why where these children chosen? & more importantly, Who has taken the children?
