Sympathy for the Daleks was the second serial of Season 47 of Doctor Who. It was written by Joseph Lidster, directed by Jamie Payne and starred Peter Capaldi as the Thirteenth Doctor, Freema Agyeman as Ashley Tannen & Tom Ellis as Richard McIntyre.
Synopsis[]
The TARDIS arrives on the planet Astreed, where the 3 travellers discover a group of archaeologists on a dangerous mission to find & rescue an abandoned Dalek army. The Archaeologists believe the Daleks to be a mistaken race, and one that has potential to be good.
The Doctor tries warning the archaeologists of the danger, however this only speeds along the process of unfreezing the Daleks. Will the archaeologists learn to see the truth? Or will their Sympathy for the Daleks result in their death?
