The Girl in the Fireplace was the fourth serial of Season 38 of Doctor Who. It was written by Steven Moffat, directed by Hettie MacDonald and starred Aidan Gillen as the Tenth Doctor & Helen Baxendale as Jean Robinson.
Synopsis[]
The Doctor & Jean land on a spaceship in the future that contains several portals to pre-Revolutionary France. When he steps through one of these portals, shaped like a fireplace, the Doctor discovers the even greater mystery of actual, romantic love.
