The Lincoln Assassination was the third serial of Season 47 of Doctor Who. It was written by John Dorney, directed by Jamie Payne and starred Peter Capaldi as the Thirteenth Doctor, Freema Agyeman as Ashley Tannen & Tom Ellis as Richard McIntyre.
Synopsis[]
The TARDIS takes the Doctor & his companions back to Earth, where the Doctor discovers them to be in Washington, on the 15th of April in 1865, the day Abraham Lincoln is assassinated. Imminently, the Doctor wishes to leave however Richard decides he is going to make a difference.
Richard goes awal & plans to change history by saving Lincoln. With the future of humanity at risk, the Doctor & Ashley are forced to make sure Richard doesn't get his way & stop the assassination or else time would be destroyed.
