The Living Light was the first serial of Season 33 of Doctor Who. It was written by Paul Cornell, directed by Stuart McDonald and starred Hugh Bonneville as the Ninth Doctor, Lisa Bowerman as Bernice Summerfield & Robert Bathurst as Chris Hector.

Synopsis[]
The TARDIS comes crashing down to Earth, and Isaac Summerfield takes in his Daughter Bernice, along with her friend Chris & a strange man claiming to be the Doctor. Something has gone wrong with the regeneration, and the Doctor is experiencing flashes of amnesia.
Meanwhile, something is happening to the dead, as people are seeing the decaying bodies of their loved ones roaming the streets. The bodies reveal themselves to be a part of the race named the Lampsi, former owners of the planet. Many years ago, they abandoned the planet. Now they're back & simply wish to co exist with the humans, but humanity isn't happy. Can the new Doctor find a peaceful solution between the two races? or will this night end with blood being spilt?
