The Masks of Makassar was the ninth serial of Season 42 of Doctor Who. It was written by Paul Cornell, directed by Andy Goddard and starred Liam Cunningham as the Eleventh Doctor, Kate Ashfield as Hannah Ward & Richard Armitage as Brian Whiteford.
Synopsis[]
The Doctor is asked to represent an alien planet. But when his inner grief begins to cloud his judgement, Hannah & Brian are put in danger. A trap has been set for the Doctor - and he has walked straight into it.
