The Satan Pit was the third serial of Season 44 of Doctor Who. It was written by Matt Jones, directed by James Strong and starred Robert Carlyle as the Twelfth Doctor & Sheridan Smith as Sally Ryder.
Synopsis[]
The Doctor and Sally lose the TARDIS down a deep chasm, leaving themselves stranded on a space base positioned on a planet in the orbit of a black hole. Meanwhile, an entity who identifies as Satan himself is awakening and beginning to cause chaos amongst the crew.
