The Secrets of Maggsville was the sixth serial of Season 49 of Doctor Who. It was written by Neil Cross, directed by Saul Metzstein and starred Peter Capaldi as the Thirteenth Doctor, Gemma Chan as Kelsey Haule & Tom Ellis as Richard McIntyre.
Synopsis[]
While on a day out to 1948, the Doctor comes across old ghost stories about an evil village named Maggsville, a place where people vanish in the night & are taken away to cut up. Curious about this old folktale, the Doctor takes the TARDIS back to 1763 to investigate into this mysterious Maggsville. It turns out that the Doctor finds more than he bargained he for, as he finds a very old friend back to her evil & horrifying ways.
