They Come Out At Night was the fourth serial of Season 57 of Doctor Who. It was written by Matt Fitton, directed by Mark Tonderai and starred Rakhee Thakrar as the Sixteenth Doctor & Ronak Patani as Daniel Neshwin.
Synopsis[]
The TARDIS lands on the remains of a dead planet destroyed by a nuclear war, with the only remains of its former civilisation being the decrepid remains of a nearby city. Almost immediently, the Doctor & Daniel wish to leave. But the TARDIS is gone, and the pair are left stranded - no TARDIS, no sonic.
Taking shelter in the nearby city, the pair discover a group of survivors, who bring warnings of some form of an enemy who can never be seen without dying. Once you see "them", "they" will follow & will never stop until you are dead.
With night falling on the city, the Doctor & her new team must search every corner of the city for equiptment that'll bring the TARDIS back. But, with the odds stacked against her, this time, will the Doctor survive the adventure?
